Rides
There are numerous reasons for choosing a Maymont ride - romance, history, simple fun or just simple convenience. Depending upon your mood, your choices include a 40-passenger open-air tram, a horse-drawn wagonette that seats six, an intimate horse-drawn surrey or a raucous hayride. Visit when public rides are scheduled or reserve your own private tour!
PUBLIC RIDES
The most affordable way to enjoy a Maymont ride is to visit when public rides are scheduled.
Carriage Rides
Call ext. 340 for dates and times.
10-minute ride; $5 adults; $3 children
Tram Rides
Saturday - Sunday, 12 - 5pm
Weather permitting.
$3 adults; $2 children; Members free.
The tram makes a continuous loop with stops approximately every 20 minutes at the Children's Farm, Nature & Visitor Center, Japanese Garden, near Maymont Mansion and at the Hampton Street entrance.
Please Note: There is a required minimum of six passengers for the tram to remain in operation. Call in advance to confirm tram availability on the day of your visit.
Hay Wagon Rides
June-August: Saturday-Sunday, 1-4pm
Weather permitting.
$3 adults; $2 children.
Begin and end at the Children's Farm.
