ANIMAL KEEPER CAMP Calling all animal enthusiasts! Discover what it takes to care for the hundreds of animals at Maymont. With the help of our aquarists and animal keepers, we’ll learn and assist with feeding and care, and create enrichment treats and activities for Maymont’s critters! 5-day session, $164/$140 members 9:15am-12:15pm, Children’s Farm Classroom

JUNIOR NATURALIST Junior Naturalists assist in teaching younger campers about our natural environment while gaining great experience in the environmental science field! Earn volunteer hours while working with animals, leading stories and lessons, and preparing crafts, activities and experiments. Must commit to at least three morning camps or two full day camps and attend a training session. To learn more, contact our Volunteer Coordinator at 804-358-7166 ext 327.
Cancellations/Refunds If you need to cancel, contact the Environmental Education department as soon as possible. Your camper can be transferred into a comparable camp at no additional cost if space is available. 50% of the registration fee will be refunded for cancellations made at least three weeks prior to the start of the camp session. No refunds will be available for cancellations made less than three weeks prior to the session. Allow three to four weeks from the time of cancellation for a refund to be issued.
