GIVE THANKS TO THE ANIMALS
Support a furry, feathered or finned friend!
Maymont's animals depend on people like you to help feed and care for them at a cost of $500,000 a year. In November, Maymont is offering some special options to support and celebrate the animals. You can join our "Give Thanks to the Animals" wall in the Nature Center, adopt an animal for $25 or more, or participate in our Give Thanks program on November 17 to make treats for Maymont's animals and your own backyard wildlife.

Saturday, November 17
10am-12pm, Nature Center
Celebrate Maymont's animals in this season of giving thanks! Create special treats for the animals at Maymont while learning why enrichment is important for animals in captivity. After giving the animals their treats, we'll create something for the wild ones in your own yard! Ages 5 and older; adult must accompany child. $12 per child/$10 members (includes admission to the Nature Center). A few walk up spots are available.
Adopt an Animal
From chickens and goats to American bald eagles, black bears and river otters...more than 400 animals call Maymont home. Support the care of Maymont's animals with a tax-deductible gift to our Adopt an Animal program. Any animal can be adopted at any gift level, starting at $25.
