Blooms: small clusters of yellow-white fragrant flowers in the spring

Fruit: red-brown parallel winged fruit, samara, _ to 1" long

Leaf: dark green glossy leaves with variations of yellow and red in the fall

Height: 15-20’ in height with a spread equal or more

Exposure: full sun or light shade

Culture: easy to transplant and is adaptable to a wide range of soil conditions

Acer ginnala is a small, multi-stemmed tree ideal for the landscape due to its size, soil adaptability and ability to withstand heavy pruning. It is relatively free of insects and disease and can even be grown in container.
