Summer Camps

Nature calls! Maymont's wildly popular summer camps offer outdoor adventures, animal encounters, games, crafts and hands-on activities for young nature explorers. These camps fill up fast, so register early. Become a Maymont Member to receive a discount.

A 50% non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required for registration. Separate registration is required for each child.

That’s Gross!
Think your table manners are bad? Check out some animals and the disgusting things they do to survive. We’ll study owl “puke,” icky insects, and other tricks animals use on the nasty side of nature.

WILD ABOUT RICHMOND

Maymont and the James River Association are teaming up to introduce campers to the natural side of Richmond! Explore the James River by canoe, fish for aquatic creatures, hike through natural habitats, soak up some of Richmond’s unique history, enjoy an overnight adventure on Presquille Island and more!
